There was a long line to check in at reception. I waited almost 15 minutes while other people (slowly) booked their appts with the front desk. There should be a way to allow people to check in for appts without waiting for the receptionist to be available. Or those booking appts should be asked to wait. I then had to wait another 15 minutes to be called for an examination room. The wait is always too long at this clinic.

I have been going to Downtown Women for over 25 years. It's a great practice. My only complaint is I always have to wait close to 30 mins before my appt starts.

Jessica was clearly a knoweldgeable expert on HRT, yet there was not a whiff on arrogance nor condescension. Quite the contrary. She greeted my many questions with, "That's a good question," which calmed my many concerns and made me feel like I was in good hands to make what feels like a big decision to try hormone replacement therapy— or not. She was also kind and spent a lot of time with me.

Jessica provides routine gynecologic care and education, including birth control options, diagnosis and treatment of vaginal infections, STD testing and treatment, as well as managing the Intrauterine Insemination program.
