John R. Wright Jr., MD

Dr. Wright is enthusiastic about obstetrics and helping patients start their families with the best possible care. He believes in delivering the best care possible to women, regardless of age or circumstance.

Dr. Wright encourages optimizing reproductive health before pregnancy and also attending to the needs of mothers after they have had their children. He specializes in incontinence and prolapse surgery, infertility evaluation and management, menopause, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Wright is married and has two children. His family has lived in Western North Carolina for many generations. A former collegiate runner, competitive cyclist and tennis player, Dr. Wright leads a healthy, fit lifestyle and is active in his church and local athletic activities.
