John Symbas, MD

Dr. John Symbas is a board certifed cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon, as well as a member of the group of surgeons at Atlanta Plastic & Reconstructive Specialists. Dr. Symbas shows great enthusiasm as a plastic surgeon and is excited to offer his experience, skills and talents to his patients, helping them to achieve better health, better function, better appearance, and better lives.

After being trained at Paces Plastic Surgery, Dr. Symbas uses the most advanced techniques, as well as the latest technology when performing surgery, with special emphasis on oculoplastic surgery under the tutelage of Dr. Clinton McCord. He is thoroughly trained in all aspects of reconstructive surgery, facial surgery, breast surgery and body contouring procedures.

Dr. Symbas, a native of Atlanta, graduated from Trinity and Lovett Schools with high honors in academic and athletic endeavors. He continued his education at Emory University, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society for his academic and scientific studies.

His excellent performance in medical school earned him the honor of being accepted to a rigorous accelerated Plastic Surgery residency program at Emory. There, he completed three years of general surgery, and three years of plastic surgery training under the guidance of some of the best minds and hands that the field of plastic surgery has to offer.
