I gave a 5-star rating because my entire surgical experience with Dr. Symbas exceeded all my expectations, from the initial consultation to the final results. I came to Dr. Symbas seeking a solution for a specific and distressing issue: a fat atrophy induced by steroids. Finding the right surgeon for a corrective procedure like this was deeply important to me, and from our very first meeting, I knew I was in the right hands. I place my full trust in Dr. Symbas's expertise and surgical plan. The surgery itself was a complete success. Dr. Symbas perfectly filled and corrected the fat atrophy, and I am extremely satisfied and happy with the final outcome. The results look incredible and have truly restored my peace of mind. My most recent surgery was to replace the breast expanders from my double mastectomy with implants. Dr. Symbas was very clear in communicating what to expect - both in terms of recovery as well as overall outcome. I felt prepared for the surgery both physically and emotionally. All of the staff were exceptional - from answering my phone calls to spending time with me in my follow-up appointments. I was very happy with the process and the outcome. I feel confident and incredibly happy with my results, and I can now live my life fully without an asterisk.

Breasts look and feel better than before. very pleased with the appearance, smaller implant size much more comfortable. the lift on the (l ) side is slightly different in terms of nipple placement but I am confident that with time that natural breast will settle and match perfectly. also appreciate the fact that Dr, Symbas was willing to accept medicare and remove leaking implant and correct issues. I am extremely satisfied - thank you.

About John Symbas, MD
Dr. John Symbas is a board certifed cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon, as well as a member of the group of surgeons at Atlanta Plastic & Reconstructive Specialists. Dr. Symbas shows great enthusiasm as a plastic surgeon and is excited to offer his experience, skills and talents to his patients, helping them to achieve better health, better function, better appearance, and better lives.
After being trained at Paces Plastic Surgery, Dr. Symbas uses the most advanced techniques, as well as the latest technology when performing surgery, with special emphasis on oculoplastic surgery under the tutelage of Dr. Clinton McCord. He is thoroughly trained in all aspects of reconstructive surgery, facial surgery, breast surgery and body contouring procedures.
Dr. Symbas, a native of Atlanta, graduated from Trinity and Lovett Schools with high honors in academic and athletic endeavors. He continued his education at Emory University, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society for his academic and scientific studies.
His excellent performance in medical school earned him the honor of being accepted to a rigorous accelerated Plastic Surgery residency program at Emory. There, he completed three years of general surgery, and three years of plastic surgery training under the guidance of some of the best minds and hands that the field of plastic surgery has to offer.
