Dr. Tom is beyond kind and incredibly helpful! She makes me feel very comfortable!
Dr. Tom was caring and listened to my concerns. She took the time to provide clear information.
Check in was easy. Front staff helpful and nice. Called back early. Good conversation with Dr Tom. Shes very skilled for exams and exam was very comfortable Got my questions answered. Only feedback for improvement was that I understand blood pressure should be taken after resting for 5-7 minutes and it was taken much sooner. And on check-in cant go back in and add in info (dates of tests for medical history ) without changing the submit time.i tried to go back in at home and could not after submitting (I had to look up the dates) And doing it at the office according to front staff would have made me appear late though I was early. And I was asked when my dexascan was done. I don’t remember that on the medical history for check in from home. Already left some comments. Dr Tom is very skilled as a doctor also personable and comfortable. Everything you want in a doctor.

Upon check in I was informed I was all set and to have a seat. After 45 minutes I asked why my name hasn’t been called. They claimed I was a no show to my appt. I checked in 20 minutes early as instructed. I was informed it was a mistake made by a new employee working the front desk area. I was able to see the Dr anyway which was great! My experience with Dr Tom is always professional and she answers any questions that I may have. I have been a patient at Desert West for 29 years and have never experienced a problem at check in before. But, this last appointment was a terrible experience. This has also caused the system to call me and email me about rescheduling my missed appointment. What a nightmare! Please train the front desk people properly and don’t allow them to check patients in until they are fully competent. One final note, I’m wondering if the system will kick out a letter stating I’m being charged a no show fee? Time will tell.
