I have being going to Dr. Safran for over 40 years. He has consistently provided excellent patient service with genuine caring for the patient's physical, mental and emotional well-being. It is a combination which sadly is becoming increasingly harder to find. He is willing to spend the time a patient might need to answer questions, to explain a diagnosis or a procedure, or to offer comfort when needed. I am so very grateful I selected Dr. Safran when I first came to Washington so many years ago--and I give him the highest rating because he deserves it.
First, scheduling an appointment at CWC is much faster than getting one with my regular GP, which is already a significant advantage. More importantly, as always, Dr. Safran was exceptional. He takes as much time with each patient as needed, ensuring they fully understand the proposed course of action and next steps. He also makes every effort to arrange the necessary tests and follow-up care as quickly as possible. What I particularly appreciate is that he personally follows up with patients, calling them to discuss the findings and answer any remaining questions. I find this approach truly outstanding. It combines professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care for the patient. I only wish more healthcare providers would adopt a similar model of patient-centered care.
Dr. listened, didn't rush the appt, provided a solution and other options if the solution didn't work. Made himself available and called me with the results -- all positive.
