Doctor took time to talk to me and listen to my concerns.
Detailed talk through perimenopause. Dr. Jeffries is a very friendly provider who is well knowledged and well caring of her patients.
Front desk ladies were kind and doctor Jefferies was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you. Dr. Jefferies was very pleasant and helpful.
Dr. Jefferies was friendly and started the appointment by going over items in my file instead of jumping right into the exam. She had a good bedside manner while doing the exam. I was surprised by her hesitancy on prescribing HRTs; she didn't seem to be a big fan and based that on her analysis that there isn't enough data yet. I was under the impression that the current trend is for more women in menopause to take HRT because new medicines don't have the same dangers as the old ones. She was willing to prescribe them to me, but I'm not quite in the window yet, so we agreed that I would reach out when I am solidly in the window if I want to start medication.
Dr. Jefferies was good at listening to my concerns and helping me piece together connections that could offer strategies to address them. There was no gaslighting, which is valuable for someone with multiple chronic illnesses. She also read up on the latest in my illnesses and had valuable information to offer me.
