She also provides comprehensive gynecologic care, including routine annual exams and Pap smears, contraceptive counseling and management, IUD placement and removal, menopause management, and basic infertility evaluation and treatment.

She believes there is rarely a single “right” answer in gynecology and takes the time to understand each patient’s priorities, concerns, and reproductive goals before recommending a treatment plan. Her goal is for patients to leave their visits feeling informed, heard, and confident in their care. Dr. Ackert’s commitment to compassionate medicine began during medical school, when she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and later served as president of her chapter. She has received numerous awards and honors throughout medical school, residency, and fellowship in recognition of her clinical, academic, and surgical achievements.
