Katie Wood Calvillo, CNM, WHNP grew up in Raleigh, NC. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Mathematical Science at UNC-Chapel Hill, Katie worked in actuarial consulting before returning to school to pursue a career in women’s healthcare. Katie attended Columbia University as a National Health Service Corp Scholar and earned a BS in Nursing and a dual masters in Midwifery and Women’s Health in 2006.
