Kristin has been a Physician Assistant in orthopedics for 6 years working in conjunction with Dr. Wasserlauf and Dr. Bissell treating both sports related injuries as well as many general orthopedic problems. She is co-director of the Orthopedic Urgent Care in Bloomfield.
Kristin has previously worked in Neurosurgery for 15 years, in both the Hartford and New Haven areas, treating many spinal conditions. For the past 20 years she has been an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Program.
She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Anatomy. She then graduated from Quinnipiac University, receiving her Physician Assistant certificate as well as a Masters degree in Health Science. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.
She is involved in the community assisting in team coverage for local high schools as well as the University of Hartford athletics. In addition, she is a competitive triathlete competing in local, national and international events.
