Dr Adkins was very helpful and explained all my options very thoroughly. I appreciated that she already knew my situation and remembered many details so she was able to suggest options that made sense for me. She did not make me feel rushed throughout and made sure to ask me multiple times if I had any other questions and offered to prescribe better pain meds for my periods cramps which I really appreciated. It's nice to feel like she understood that period cramps can be very painful and didn't brush it off as just a normal thing. I also really appreciated that she walked me out, tried to find samples of the meds she was prescribing and walked me through how to get a coupon/discount since they can be expensive. I always feel like she is listening, is very kind and very knowledgable and I am very happy with having her as my doctor. I do also always have a very good experience with the ladies at the front during check-in and with all the nurses who initially take me back to a room, I feel like every time I have always had very nice, helpful and positive people I interact with. I already mentioned this is my previous comments. But I am always extremely happy with my experience with Dr Adkins. She is extremely knowledgable, understanding and kind and professional. I switched to Avina and Dr Adkins specifically based on a recommendation from one of her other patients and at about 4 months pregnant as I was very unhappy with my current provider and I am very glad I did. She has always made me feel very heard and understood and has always been helpful and respectful and kind. She has never made me feel silly for questions I have asked or downplayed anything I have experienced.
I have seen Dr. Leah Adkins for over 6 years. She is always attentive. I never stress about waiting to be seen because even if she is behind she gives you her undivided attention during your visit. She has delivered 2 of my 3 babies and was always a strong advocate for me. Would recommend to others.

Dr. Adkins is absolutely wonderful! She is so sweet and caring. I would recommend her to anyone! If there was one thing I could change, it would just be the wait time to see her whenever I go. In my previous visits, I have had to wait at least a half hour while partially undressed until she is able to make it to the exam room I am in. It's worth it because of how amazing she is! That would just be one thing I would change if I could! Otherwise 5 stars to her and the staff!
Dr. Adkins spends as much time as needed to answer my questions or concerns. I love that I can schedule my annual visit and mammogram at the same place, same day back to back saving me time.

Dr. Adkins returned to Ohio in 2007 to work at Berger Health Systems prior to joining our practice in 2011. She offers comprehensive women’s healthcare with special interests in adolescent obstetrics and gynecology, well-woman health promotion, menopausal therapy and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). A resident of Grove City, Dr. Adkins enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and Labradoodle.
