Student present during my visit. Painful probing in my Who-Ha/Vagina while attempting to locate my IUD when it was told to me years ago that the string couldn’t be found but the situation was ok. Now the IUD is lodged in uterus ….. immovable to the point where my right ovary is not visible through a transvaginal ultrasound. Now I need a hysterectomy to remove my oversized fibroid uterus that is accompanied by a stuck, potentially dangerously implanted IUD.
Friendly staff. I was in and out for my vaccination. Felt nothing getting my shot and the employee who gave me my shot (sorry I can't remember her name!) was so sweet, welcoming, and friendly!

Leslie’s heart has always been in women’s health. Her journey at A Woman’s View began in 2005 when she joined the team as a medical assistant. For nearly a decade, she was an integral part of the AWV family. In 2011, following the premature birth of her first daughter, Leslie felt called to further her career in healthcare. Motivated by her personal experience, she pursued nursing school to support and guide other mothers navigating similar journeys.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Appalachian State University in 2018 and began working as a Labor & Delivery RN at the CVMC birthing center. There, she found deep fulfillment in helping families welcome their babies safely into the world.
In 2024, Leslie earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from Winston-Salem State University and returned to A Woman’s View—excited to be back “home.” She believes that every woman deserves a provider who listens, empathizes, and walks alongside her through every stage of life. Leslie strives to be that provider for her patients.
When she’s not working, Leslie enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Reagan and Addison.
