Lisa Lewis is a certified physician assistant at Capital Women’s Care in Laurel and Silver Spring, Maryland.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland at College Park and continued her studies at Howard University in Washington, DC with a full scholarship from the National Health Services Corps.
As the third leg of her training, Lewis completed her master’s degree to become a professional physician assistant with a specialty in OB/GYN at the University of Nebraska. However, this wasn’t enough for Lewis, who decided to complete a unique residency program for physician assistants specializing in OB/GYN.
