She returned to the East Coast and completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Downtown Hospital in New York City. For her work, she received the Berlex Best Teaching Resident Award. Dr. Bewtra has been in private practice in Bergen County, New Jersey for over 14 years and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Her interest in women’s health beyond the strict purview of an OB-GYN began at a young age and has since carried over into her practice. She now provides care for women of all ages, including issues pertaining to contraceptive counseling, pregnancy, cervical health, menopause, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Bewtra is married and has three children, a boy and fraternal twins (boy & girl).
