Dr. Munoz was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, graduating with a double major in Molecular Biology/ Microbiology and Psychology.

She has always had an interest in languages and travel so she decided to move to Paris, France for three months where she learned the language and immersed herself in the culture Dr. Munoz received her medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine on the Caribbean Island of Grand Cayman. While learning medicine she also obtained her scuba diving certification and discovered a new hobby. Dr. Munoz is a certified PADI open water diver.
