Marisa is absolutely amazing. She always takes time to talk to you, explains things well, and listens to any concerns or questions you might have.
At my prior OB Prenatal appointment I was told I was "high risk" and they had a lot of "concerns" for my pregnancy. It wasn't the information but how it was given, I felt they were insensitive and I became uncomfortable and nervous. I have been in good health for 10 years and no longer need to see a specialist for my previous conditions. I switched to Genesis due to their high reputation though the community and family referrals. While meeting with Genesis I provided my history and all the previous concerns. Genesis had an informative conversation about protocol, explaining that it may no longer be a concern, but they would keep an eye on my heart and circulation during the pregnancy. That this is to ensure not only my safety and the babies health as well, meaning I would have an extra lab or ultrasound at times. Genesis appeared to be more familiar with my previous condition and reassured me that everything is with in normal rage and agreed that I was in fact healthy. I was still referred to a specialist, which is fine, but this time I was informed instead of left clueless.
Marisa was wonderful; thought the scheduling, check-in, and lab work could have been better.
