He was listening.
Dr. Sellers was called away for delivery. So I had an extremely long wait. Once I was taken to the back, this was explained to me and I completely understood but I sat in the front for quite a while without someone telling me and wish someone would've said something sooner. This was following a breast mammogram and ultrasound.

I did extensive research before choosing a new provider because I wanted someone who specialized in my specific concerns after switching from my local hospital. Although the wait to see Dr. Sellers was a little longer than I had hoped, I am so glad I chose him. First, his nursing staff was wonderful. I interacted the most with Kelsey, who was incredibly kind, caring, and thorough. She explained everything clearly, made me feel comfortable, and had such a warm, welcoming personality. From the moment Dr. Sellers walked into the room and introduced himself, I knew I had made the right choice. He was kind, compassionate, and genuinely listened to everything I had to say. I never once felt rushed, awkward, or uncomfortable. He took the time to answer my questions, address my concerns, and made me feel heard. It is obvious that Dr. Sellers is extremely knowledgeable and truly passionate about women’s health. Finding a physician who combines expertise with such genuine compassion is rare. Dr. Matthew Sellers has been at Cornerstone since 2008 and brings expertise to our team and personalized care to our patients. While delivering his first baby in medical school, he remembers feeling amazed as he was the first person to hold the baby as it took its first breath, and this led him to choose a career in OB-GYN. Much of his inspiration as a physician comes from his Christian faith and his favorite Bible verses, Acts 17:24-25: "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else."
Dr. Sellers is a Board Certified OB-GYN with a clinical emphasis on OB-GYN and gynecologic surgery, and he is the first resident-trained robotic gynecologic surgeon in the state of Arkansas. He was honored with 1st place in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic simulation and outstanding resident in gynecology/oncology during his 2008 residency at UAMS. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Association of Pro-life Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He looks forward to seeing his patients grow old and hopes to one day deliver their children’s children.
An active member of his church, Dr. Sellers and his family are passionate about serving the community and the world. He met his wife while ministering to orphans abroad, and they were married in 2002. They have three wonderful children. When he’s not working, Dr. Sellers enjoys spending time with his family, biking, hunting and traveling.
