Dr. Malik was exposed to women’s health from a very young age, as her mother was a practicing gynecologist in Towson. She completed an undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania with a double major in Biology and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. She then went on to medical school and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2019. She worked in Texas and Illinois and then finally returned home to Maryland in 2021, working in academic medicine at the University of Maryland. In 2023, she received additional certification in menopausal care and is now a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP).

Dr. Malik strives to provide excellent women’s health care to all. Her special interests include global women’s health, gynecologic surgery, fertility, and menopause care. She is looking forward to providing obstetric and gynecologic care to women in the Howard County community.

She lives in HoCo with her husband and three children. They love to walk the local trails, go on adventures in the area and beyond, and enjoy various cuisines. When given a moment, Dr. Malik loves to enjoy a cup of tea and good book!
