Pamela is a superior professional who knows her patients well. I trust her advice greatly. She is willing to listen to all the things on my mind and has very helpful advice. I have in fact referred friends to this practice because of the care I have received from Pamela.
First, I was pleased to be able to get an appt for the next day. At the appt, I was not made to feel rushed, my symptoms were seriously considered, and after examination possible cause and treatment were discussed. A follow up appt was encouraged.
Dr. Barstow was extrememly kind and made me feel very comfortable. She explained everything in a way that made sense and was very kind.

Pamela Barstow, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and an adjunct instructor for the Graduate School of Nursing at Purdue Global. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University, as well as her family nurse practitioner certification in 2015. In 2022, she obtained a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, also from Walden University. She has a diverse clinical background, including labor and delivery, high-risk inpatient obstetrics, adult primary care, gynecology, pediatrics, and lactation. While she enjoys caring for patients across the lifespan, she has a special affinity for teenagers and young adults with menstrual and family planning concerns. She takes pride in getting to know her patients and strives to provide individualized care. As a military spouse, she is also sensitive to the needs of military families. Although she was born and raised in Colorado, she is proud to call Virginia her home. In her free time, she enjoys watching baseball with her husband and attending Washington Nationals’ games every chance she gets. Additionally, she is an avid supporter of pet adoption and currently has two dogs and two cats.
