Dr. Horowitz listened to my chief complaints and provided oral contraceptive pills as an option to treat sleep disturbances. However, she did not seem to have detailed knowledge of perimenopausal symptoms and disregarded anxiety and palpitations as not related to perimenopause. She recommended a cardiology opinion for palpitations to rule out any heart related conditions. I would have liked her to be more open to listening and connecting dots for perimenopause
