Rachel is very compassionate and really cares about her patients. She takes time to listen and addresses all of your concerns. I needed to come back for a second mammogram screening and she called me ahead of time just so I wouldn't be alarmed. I was really touched by her thoughtfulness.

Rachel is the best. She listens and truly cares about her patients. Easy to ask questions even if it may seem a little silly or embarrassing. Have been going to her for years now and I believe is my longest provider so far as an adult because I trust her as a medical provider. Intake nurses and front desk attendants were nice and professional and helped me get a copy of my new insurance card that I didn't get in the mail yet. Great job ladies!!

In 2011, Rachel completed her master’s degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner also at the UNC-CH. She joined Arbor ObGyn in 2013, after ten years of Labor and Delivery nursing at UNC Rex Hospital. Rachel is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.
Mrs. Runkle lives in Raleigh with her husband and children. They enjoy exercising outside, cheering for NC State athletics, and regularly attend Devoted City Church.
