Rachel Runkle, WHNP-BC

Rachel Runkle is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a Raleigh native and graduate of Sanderson High School. She attended NC State, and then received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2006 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2011, Rachel completed her master’s degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner also at the UNC-CH. She joined Arbor ObGyn in 2013, after ten years of Labor and Delivery nursing at UNC Rex Hospital. Rachel is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.

Mrs. Runkle lives in Raleigh with her husband and children. They enjoy exercising outside, cheering for NC State athletics, and regularly attend Devoted City Church.

“I have a particular interest in obstetrics, its blessings and its difficulties. However, in gynecology, I enjoy contributing to a woman’s awareness of her body and assisting her to care for it to her best ability. I enjoy forming trustworthy and educated relationships with women throughout their lives. Having the privilege to provide care in the fields of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a gift.
