I went in after a six month delay on my part getting cleared for sinus surgery. Dr. Heyes examined me and did a head CT. The polyp in my sinus was gone. He said we should take it as a win and I knew where to find him if I had problems in the future. I was very happy that he gathered new information and made the best recommendation for me rather than plowing ahead with surgery.

After suffering for a month with severe phlegm, coughing, and nasal congestion that kept waking me up every hour at night, I finally visited an ENT clinic and saw Dr. Richard. He carefully listened to my concerns, performed an endoscopic exam, and prescribed the right medication for my condition. Amazingly, I started feeling better within just one day. After finishing the medication, my symptoms were completely gone, and I could finally sleep through the night again. I truly appreciate Dr. Richard's attentive care and expertise.

While in London, Dr. Heyes conducted research collaborating with Mayo Clinic in Arizona which resulted in him being offered a research fellowship in the Head and Neck Regenerative Medicine Laboratory led by Dr. David Lott. Dr. Heyes subsequently completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
Dr. Heyes is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, the American Rhinological Society, and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is board eligible with the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Heyes' research has been published in many of the field's leading journals, and he remains engaged in academics as a peer reviewer for Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the official peer-reviewed publication of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
