Roy Khoury, MD, FACOG

Board-certified OB/GYN Roy Khoury, MD, FACOG has extensive training in overall women’s health and modern gynecological surgery. He’s currently accepting new patients at Capital Women’s Care in Laurel and Silver Spring, Maryland. Dr. Khoury completed both his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Philadelphia. He went through his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. To further his expertise, Dr. Khoury then completed advanced training in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques through the Johnson & Johnson Institute/Ethicon Endosurgery (EES) fellowship program. He’s also a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Khoury continues to be involved in medical teaching and education. Throughout his career, Dr. Khoury has received numerous awards and was even recognized as the Best Teaching Educator at Holy Cross Hospital. He currently serves as an assistant clinical professor at The George Washington University and president of the medical executive committee at the Maryland Surgery Center for Women. Being fluent in English, French, Arabic, and medical Spanish allows Dr. Khoury to communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. When he’s away from the clinic, Dr. Khoury enjoys skiing, tennis, and spending time with his wife and two children.
