From there, Sharon went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University in 2019 and was inducted into the Pi Alpha honor society.
Before joining Women's Health Connecticut, Sharon grew her passion for patient-centered care through valuable experience as a physician assistant at New York-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns in New York, NY.
She served as a charge PA, responsible for managing laboring patients, participating in vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, and responding to maternal emergencies.
