Sheila is a licensed massage therapist with over 10 years experience. Her continual commitment to pursuing the most advanced education has taken her down numerous paths of practice and has provided her with both a fulfilling and successful career as a Massage Therapist. Upon completing many trainings in advanced myofascial release and study at The Rolf Institute, Sheila’s approach to bodywork changed dramatically. She began utilizing a more subtle approach to massage and, as a result, saw dramatic results in her clients increase in range of motion and pain relief. After years of applying a more subtle, lighter method of massage she decided to pursue an education in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. “They say that the power to heal lies within. This is literally the case with MLD (manual lymphatic drainage). By clearing the lymphatic pathways in the body we are jump starting an already well established, intricate healing system. We are boosting the body’s ability to heal itself by increasing blood flow, blood detoxification, tissue regeneration and fluid drainage.” Sheila's meditative approach to MLD results in amazing benefits for the body and mind. She is currently studying at The Vodder School for Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
