Procedure steps were straightforward. I initially saw a nurse/technician who went over my medical history. I then saw the doctor who looked at both ears and removed ear wax buildup. Next step was taking the hearing test. The nurse/technician administering the test gave me simple and thorough instructions as the test was being performed. Final step was a review of the hearing test results with the doctor. Explanation of the results was understandable. Option for using hearing aids was given but not aggressively pushed. I ended up scheduling a follow up appointment with an in-house audiologist to try a pair of hearing aids for a week. The audiologist was thorough with the explanation on how to use the hearing aids and what they might do for my hearing. Again, there was no aggressive push to buy the hearing aids, with an emphasis on deciding for myself if I needed them. This approach was appreciated. I ended up deciding that I did not need hearing aids at this time, but I scheduled a follow up exam in two years. If and when I do need hearing aids I will most likely buy them from this office.
