I have always been satisfied with the care I receive from Dr Shepherd and his staff. He is always very patient focused and puts our comforts in the forefront of his exams. My first IUD insertion was a painful experience and he made my second insertion appointment feel like a regular exam. He was very mindful and thoughtful throughout the procedure and even our consultation appt he was great in providing me all viable options for me to make an informed decision.
Dr. Shepard is the best! He cares about his patients and looks out for their best interest. I highly recommend Dr. Shepard. He delivered my child and now a few of my friends see him too. Honestly, all of the doctors I encountered at Women's Place are unbelievably kind and professional.

He attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecologic Surgery in Lansing, MI.
Following residency, he moved with his family to northern Nigeria serving for many years as a medical missionary. Here he led West Africa’s largest fistula repair program and became one of the world’s top surgeons in fistula repair & reconstruction following obstetric and surgical injuries.
