Tanja Scherm, MD

About Tanja Scherm:

Dr. Tanja Scherm is passionate about caring for women of all ages. She enjoys the diversity involved in the medical and surgical management of pregnant mothers, pre/postmenopausal women, and teens.

Dr. Scherm was born in Germany and grew up in Colorado. She is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. She attended medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine-Shreveport and completed her OB/GYN residency at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport. She is board certified and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has one daughter and enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling with her family and dog. She speaks fluent German.
