“The first time I stepped on to an obstetrical floor I knew I belonged there. I was an obstetrical nurse for 14 years and then decided to become a midwife, and I’ve been practicing for 27 years now. I enjoy taking care of women through all phases of their lives, from the teen years through to menopause. It is especially touching to now have as patients the babies I helped to bring into the world years ago. I am so thankful to all the women who have allowed me to care for them over the years.”
