Why oh why do you make patients wait to do the check-in process until they are in the waiting room? The whole picture taking of the insurance card & driver's license could all be done in advance from the comfort of home or work (not to mention, why is it now our responsibility to do this, rather than it being the front desk employee's?). Is it a ploy to justify asking us to be there 15 minutes before the time we made for our ACTUAL appointment? If I make an appointment for 9am, I plan to be there at 9am, not 8:45 or I would have made the appointment for 8:45. Appointments never begin on time, so it's just more wasted time in the waiting room. Love Dr Duke, but felt rushed during the exam.
