Dr. Chen and staff listened, were friendly, explained everything happening and gave me hope that everything was good and would be ok.
Dr Chen thoroughly covered all pre-surgery procedures, prescribed medications, what to expect after surgery, what to look for that would indicate a complication that would need follow up. He answered all my questions and was very reassuring about the surgery. He also addressed hormone replacement and follow up visits. Everything was covered really well.
Dr. Chen answered my questions completely. He was not hurried during the exam and gave me the attention needed. He told me at my surgery in November of 21 that my ovaries and tubes were taken out as well as the cyst. I was so sad as my husband has passed the day before and I was unaware of most everything happening in my life at that time. He ordered a test for follow up as I have had pain in the area and thought I should get a follow up.
