Alexis Dunning, MD

Alexis Dunning, MD, OB/GYN, is an obstetrician-gynecologist at The Association for Women’s Health Care, providing high-quality women’s health care at The Loop in Chicago and Northbrook, Illinois.

Dr. Dunning studied at The Ohio State University in Columbus, earning her Bachelor of Science in biology and graduating summa cum laude. Then, she enrolled at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and obtained her Doctor of Medicine.

Before joining The Association for Women’s Health Care, Dr. Dunning completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. She thrived in the program, earning the title of Chief Resident. Dr. Dunning also received extensive training in all aspects of women’s health care.

At The Association for Women’s Health Care, Dr. Dunning provides various services, from family planning and Pap smears to treatment of menopausal symptoms. She has a compassionate bedside manner and loves helping her patients achieve happier, healthier lives.

Outside of work, Dr. Dunning enjoys continuing education. She regularly enrolls in OB/GYN-related training courses to hone and enhance her skills.
