She desires every family to feel confident and empowered throughout the process. Whether it’s your first or fifth baby, every pregnancy and birth is a unique experience that changes you forever. The mind-body-spirit connection of birth is what initially drew Betsy to become a midwife. It is truly a transformative experience, and a magnificent-yet-normal life process.
Betsy has been a Certified Nurse Midwife for 5 years and a nurse for 11 years. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a DNP and MSN focused in midwifery. She is also a certified lactation consultant and loves helping women meet their breastfeeding goals. When she’s not catching babies or talking your ear off about birth and breastfeeding, she enjoys gardening, being outside in nature and spending time with her husband and son. She looks forward to getting to know you and being a part of your birth day!
