I really appreciated how easy and detailed the online check-in experience was prior to my appointment as it saved a lot of time the day of my actual appointment. All of the staff at the office were very friendly, which is always appreciated. I really love Dr. Russ! She was very comprehensive and kind during the entire appointment/exam. I hadn't had a full women's health exam in a long time so it was nice to have her attention during our discussions and to be reaffirmed in my decisions, as well as her attention to detail and explanations during the physical examination portions. It is evident that Dr. Russ is very knowledgeable and is a good diagnostician. I also liked that we could connect over the fact that I am attending her alma mater for medical school! She is a great resource to have and I am so glad I chose her as my provider. It is clear I made the right choice for medical school. If I can be half the doctor she is, I'll be successful! I feel more confident and aware of my own health, finally getting solutions to my issues thanks to Dr. Russ. I look forward to my follow-up appointments with her!

She then attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, where she earned her medical degree and graduated Cum Laude in 2017. While in medical school, Dr. Russ was president of Women in Medicine and actively involved in women’s health advocacy and prevention in the community. Her residency was completed in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ where she was appointed as Chief Resident.
Dr. Russ is highly trained in gynecological surgery, most specifically laparoscopic and robotic procedures. Her areas of clinical interest include minimally invasive surgery, well woman care, management of complicated obstetric issues, optimizing post-partum care, and enhanced recovery after surgery and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
When not at work, she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and paddle boarding, international travel, creating charcuterie boards, and spending time with family.
Dr. Russ looks forward to providing compassionate, individualized and high-quality care to women of all ages in the Groton area.
