Delia is the absolute best! I trust her medical opinion and recommendations, which is always backed by up to date research and reasoning. She is an excellent listener, so respectful of the patient's needs/wants and is so professional and efficient while also making you feel like you are in the presence of a friend who just brings you comfort and reassurance. I never feel rushed during my appointment or like an inconvenience. She is an incredible medical professional!
Delia Foran, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, joined Connecticut Women’s OB/GYN in 2018. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut.
Delia brings over a decade of emergency care experience from Saint Francis Hospital as an Emergency Department Staff Nurse and RN Case Manager. She has also worked for the State of Connecticut Office of Victim Services, Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners Program (SAFE), providing medical care for sexual assault victims as a forensic examiner. In her time there, she collaborated with six area hospitals, police and sexual assault advocates for ensure safety and emotional well-being for abuse victims.
Delia is also a clinical instructor of the Paramedic Program at Capital Community College. She is a member of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, and was the recipient of the Nightingale Award for Nursing Excellence, Connecticut’s largest state-wide nursing recognition program.
