Delia brings over a decade of emergency care experience from Saint Francis Hospital as an Emergency Department Staff Nurse and RN Case Manager. She has also worked for the State of Connecticut Office of Victim Services, Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners Program (SAFE), providing medical care for sexual assault victims as a forensic examiner. In her time there, she collaborated with six area hospitals, police and sexual assault advocates for ensure safety and emotional well-being for abuse victims.
Delia is also a clinical instructor of the Paramedic Program at Capital Community College. She is a member of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, and was the recipient of the Nightingale Award for Nursing Excellence, Connecticut’s largest state-wide nursing recognition program.
