She earned her Medical Degree, graduating in 1998 from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
Dr. Pickett held a position in the Family Planning Clinic in New Britain General Hospital from 1999 to 2001. She has written research papers on the subject of Alzheimers and AIDS, and also coached Figure Skating in Tacoma, Washington and at Boston Skating Club, where she coached children with special needs.
Dr. Pickett, a former member of the Wellesley College NCAA Cross Country Team, Track, and Softball Clubs, enjoys many sporting activities. A USFSA and ISIA Figure Skater from 1980 - 1994, she enjoys water skiing, and was a volunteer at the 1993 and 1994 Boston Marathon. She joined Gynecology & Obstetrics in 2002 and became board certified in obstetrics and gynecology in 2004.
