Verified Patient Reviews for Gayle Friedman, MD, FACOG
I thought she was fine, but seemed distracted at the beginning. I had a 1:00 appointment and was told to arrive at 12:45. When I got there at that time the staff was at lunch and they did not return until 1:00. Why have me arrive early? I was not seen until 1:45. I thought it was strange that when the doctor arrived she did not mention the wait and only said "are you tired?" I understand that doctors can have unexpected delays but I would have really appreciated if she said something ("sorry a patient took longer than expected, there was extra traffic getting here..." anything....). It felt like my time was irrelevant. She then said that I opted to not have tests done which was untrue - I tried to explain but she was dismissive and would not listen . By the end of the appointment she warmed up a bit. I will most likely continue because I think she is knowledgeable and I'm sure is good at what she does . She may have been having a hard day - hoping for a better experience for a return visit.
