I was incredibly nervous coming into this appointment. I have a history of gynecological problems, including undergoing a procedure as a minor. When I turned 21 and went to my first routine GYN appointment, the experience was uncomfortable, frightening, and quite painful. I shared these concerns and past experiences with Julie when we first met, and she immediately took the time to explain the different options available to make my appointment as comfortable as possible. My exam ended up being completely painless, and Julie walked me through every step of the process, making sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout. I don't know if I've ever felt more cared for or heard by a healthcare provider. Julie's kindness, patience, and compassion turned an appointment I had been dreading into an overwhelmingly positive experience. I would return to this practice time and time again if it meant receiving the same level of care and understanding. I cannot thank Julie enough for making what has historically been such a difficult experience for me feel so safe and reassuring.
Dr. Miller made me feel heard and I could tell she keeps up with the latest data on GLP1 and birth control. She also spoke in plain terms so I could understand her.
