The Doctor was excellent and explained in detail. The doctor was excellent. I was surprised to learn there is an additional fee of over $200 for a new patient physical which I believe is an addition to the actual physical. I was not notified of this until I entered the office. Most people will find this unacceptable.
I recently switched from Dr. Lamonica to Dr. Descartes and have found her to be a breath of fresh air! She is knowledgeable, consults me when making decisions, and answers any questions I may have. She is a true "care partner" as opposed to a doctor who tells me what I should do. I appreciate that she is willing to engage in discussion about pros and cons about certain medications, practices, etc., rather than just tell me what I should do/take. I am highly satisfied and am very glad that I switched to her.
Overall Dr. Descartes was very thorough and kind. She answered all of my questions and gave me some positive reassurance — reassurance that has been sought out for years. I appreciate her gentle words and kind spirit.
