I was treated kindly by all staff and Dr. Steele was very professional and took the time to listen to my concerns. The whole process was done in a timely manner.
I recently switched to Avina Women's Health because my old doctor's office refuses to help with pain relief during IUD insertion. In prior experience, some ibuprofen and misoprostol is not enough, and I passed out a few times during and after the procedure. It was time to replace my IUD so I found Dr. Steele. She listened and was willing to help. She did the IUD replacement for me under general anesthesia. At the follow up appointment she said it was still a difficult placement and she can see why it was so painful for me in the past. Thank you Dr. Steele!
