wonderful knowledgeable , kind took time
Dr. Fried is direct and clear with her care while also being a pleasant human being. Her communication style and kindness works very well for my ADHD and undiagnosed anxiety.
She was there to listen and knows what I wanted.

Dr. Fried came into the room smiling and introduced herself. She was very helpful with my prescription renewal, and making my next appointment to see her.
First of all, my intake nurse on Tuesday, 1 Sep 26 at 3:30pm has some of the best interpersonal skills I've ever experienced in a medical facilty. Full stop. I wish I'd committed her name to memory. Please find out who this was at the time of my appointment and make sure you're paying her adequately and that you never lose her. If you think it's all about the Dr.s in terms of your customer-facing interactions, you are missing an incredibly important key performance indicator. I will not tolerate unprofessional, dismissive supporting personnel any more than a Dr exhibiting those behaviors. Secondly, Dr Fried was personable and informative without making me feel judged for my previous medical care choices. She listened intently without cutting me off mid-sentence. She asked me repeatedly if I had more questions before exiting my appointment. She spoke very quickly, which was hard to catch to some extent...but she's trying not to blow up her patient schedule while not blowing off the patient in front of her. She seemed to show signs of fatigue. It may be that she didn't feel tip-top, or she was up with a child in the night, etc. If it's because you don't have enough doctors specializing in menopause care and her patient load is too much, please get that handled before the inevitable burn-out sets in. She's fantastic and should be supported appropriately. Thirdly, the receptionist was courteous and complimentary of my completing my forms online (which isn't fun for your patients, especially the mobile app. The lack of real estate on a cell screen is irritating) Fourthly, the wait times from lobby to room, from intake nurse to doctor, and from doctor to labs were minimal. Way to go! Fifthly, the facilities were new, clean, and had an appealing atmosphere.

Why I Went Into This Field:
After completing my undergraduate degree I worked for two years in clinical research. I found that my favorite part of my job was the patient interaction, which ultimately led to my decision to begin medical school. I was drawn to OB/GYN because I am genuinely interested in all aspects of women’s health. I like the variety in this field and I truly enjoy working with both my OB and GYN patients. Establishing lasting relationships with my patients and being able to follow them over their entire lifetime is quite appealing to me. I am interested in general and high-risk obstetrics, preventative health maintenance, as well as medical and surgical management of complex GYN diseases including minimally invasive surgery.
