She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency through the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. During her third year in residency, Dr. Cauthen received the Excellence in Medical Student Education award.
Dr. Cauthen is currently board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She even maintains professional memberships with the Cobb County Medical Society and the Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology Society.
