This whole facility has been absolutely amazing. I’d love to recognize nurse Emily Olivier. She made me feel so comfortable and confident in this whole journey of becoming a surrogate. The way she explains things to patients that sometimes don’t understand “doctor terms” was so so helpful. She was very attentive in responding with any questions I had and I can’t thank her enough. This whole facility even when I got my bloodwork done, I dont remember his name, but it was a tall black male, bald, covered in tattoos said he was from Chicago. He was amazing. Absolutely amazing. I can’t thank you all enough!

Dr. K was very warm and took her time explaining our options thoroughly! The nurse, Elle, followed up immediately after our appointment as promised which I really appreciated. It was also a breeze to schedule my CD 2-3 bloodwork. I am however, disappointed in our experience with scheduling. Like everyone else, we waited months for a consult. Understandable and that’s the price you pay when going to the best :). I was promised by the scheduling team that part of the reason it takes so long for an initial appointment, is because the doctors’ calendars need to be protected for current patients so they are not waiting weeks and weeks to see their doctor, which I completely understand and appreciate. That reassurance was part of the reason we decided to go to CCRM versus selecting one of the other recommended clinics. Unfortunately, since becoming a patient, a protected schedule has seemingly not been my experience. I am having my one day work-up on 8/21 and the first available appointment for my regroup is not until 9/25. 5 weeks later to discuss lab results (as opposed to 2.5-3 weeks as I was told by the doctor and scheduler) is very frustrating as it means I’ll be waiting (and missing) a cycle just to review my results. If this is my experience from the very beginning, I’m concerned what that means for my retrieval(s) and transfer(s). Will I be waiting multiple cycles just because of the doctor’s schedule?
