Lisa Headley, MD

Dr. Headley is a native to Little Rock, AR and graduated from Hendrix College, a liberal arts college in Arkansas where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas. She completed her residency at Prisma Health Upstate/University of South Carolina in Greenville, SC. There, she was well trained in high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, developing an interest in pediatric and adolescent gynecology, health equity, and diversity in medicine. She served as her residency’s education chief and was awarded the GME Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) resident award during her chief year.

She is excited about moving to the DMV and exploring all it has to offer. She is the eldest daughter of four girls and as such, has a special passion for caring for women through all stages of life. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, painting/drawing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with her cat, Theo.
