I was very emotional after visiting my primary. Feeling guilty that I had let too many years go by and negatively impacted my health. First, Cheyenne was so kind and patient and let me be teary. She patiently and with great care took my BP manually. It wasn't a concern and her kindness relieved a huge burden. Dr. Rush was equally kind, giving me her attention and time. Allowing me my emotions and explaining answers to my questions and concerns thoroughly and clearly. The exam went well and she made sure to keep me informed every stage furthering the relief. If all medical personnel had bedside manners like Cheyenne and Dr. Rush, healthcare in the US would be considered the gold standard.

Her clinical interests include inclusive care for women through all phases of life. She enjoys getting to know her patients through comprehensive annual exams. Particular interests include managing abnormal uterine bleeding, full scope obstetric care, in-depth office counseling, outpatient procedures, and minimally invasive/robotic surgery. She strives to provide updated, evidence based care and empowering her patients with personalized health care through a patient-centered approach.
Outside of work, Dr. Rush enjoys spending time with her family and friends on the shores of Lake Michigan or Crystal Lake, appreciating the natural beauty of northern Michigan.
