I think Dr. Mahta is a very attentive and kind professional OB/GYN. I had issues related to perimenopause and she actively listened and made recommendations. It turns out one of those birth control recommendations has substantially decreased my symptoms. I highly recommend the practice and Dr. Mahta!

During her time in medical school, Dr. Rouhani found a passion for women’s health, discovering obstetrics and gynecology as a professional interest. She completed her residency at Houston Methodist Hospital, where she engaged in original research regarding cervical dysplasia and colposcopy.
Dr. Rouhani is certified in the da Vinci robotic surgical system. She speaks Spanish and Persian (Farsi). She enjoys conversing with her patients, listening to their stories, and educating and empowering them with knowledge about their health.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband, family and friends. She is excited to return back home to Austin and join OBGYN North to promote the future of women’s health.
