I never have a problem when I need to see her and I don’t ever mind waiting since I know she’s such a great doctor. She’s always booked out. I don’t mind the weight, especially they are very good at if there is cancellations that they call you to move you up.

Dr. Rouhani is a native Austinite who had known from a young age that she wanted to become a physician. She received a BS in Human Biology at the University of Texas at Austin, during which she spent a semester studying abroad in Santiago, Chile. She then went to The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston for her medical degree.
During her time in medical school, Dr. Rouhani found a passion for women’s health, discovering obstetrics and gynecology as a professional interest. She completed her residency at Houston Methodist Hospital, where she engaged in original research regarding cervical dysplasia and colposcopy.
Dr. Rouhani is certified in the da Vinci robotic surgical system. She speaks Spanish and Persian (Farsi). She enjoys conversing with her patients, listening to their stories, and educating and empowering them with knowledge about their health.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband, family and friends. She is excited to return back home to Austin and join OBGYN North to promote the future of women’s health.
