The staff and providers I saw during my visit were phenomenal. Avery, the MA, was super warm and friendly. The phlebotomist was great and made the process super easy as someone who often struggles to get blood drawn. Dr. Rouhani's bedside manner was fantastic. She made me feel super comfortable. I appreciated how thorough she was and that she explained why she was doing everything–procedures, labs, etc.
The front desk staff were very kind and very quickly got me checked in. From being checked in to being called back, it was less than 5 minutes and the nurse practitioner was professional and made me comfortable. Dr. Rouhani came to my room in a timely manner and listened to my concerns. Her exam was quick and she took the time to talk to me about my questions, helped me with solutions, and made me feel at ease. The phlebotomist talked through the process, performed a nearly painless blood draw, and was very sweet. Dr. Rouhani talked openly with me about options, helped me come up with a plan that was affordable and right for me, and made sure I understood she was willing to help in any way. Overall, I was very impressed with my first visit.

During her time in medical school, Dr. Rouhani found a passion for women’s health, discovering obstetrics and gynecology as a professional interest. She completed her residency at Houston Methodist Hospital, where she engaged in original research regarding cervical dysplasia and colposcopy.
Dr. Rouhani is certified in the da Vinci robotic surgical system. She speaks Spanish and Persian (Farsi). She enjoys conversing with her patients, listening to their stories, and educating and empowering them with knowledge about their health.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband, family and friends. She is excited to return back home to Austin and join OBGYN North to promote the future of women’s health.
