I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Mary (Betsy) Hixon! From the moment I sat down with her, I felt completely heard, understood, and supported. She spent nearly an hour with me, taking the time to listen to all of my concerns and symptoms related to perimenopause—something I had been struggling to find real support for. I realize most doctors are in a time crunch and have to cram so many patients in each day but that was not my experience here. For the first time, I felt like someone was truly listening to me rather than simply checking boxes or rushing through an appointment. Betsy was incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. By the end of the visit, it honestly felt like I was talking with a trusted friend who genuinely cared about helping me feel better. Betsy immediately recommended a treatment plan based on my symptoms and concerns and already has a follow-up scheduled in four weeks to see how I'm doing and make adjustments if needed. Betsy is truly a gem of a practitioner. I left my appointment feeling hopeful, supported, and so grateful that I found her.
