Dr. Matthew Bigos has been described by his patients as invested in their care and approachable, with a warm sense of humor. He is empathetic, a good listener, and takes the time to attend to patients’ concerns and explains issues such as perimenopause in an understandable language.
He graduated from Penn State as an Administrative Chief Resident and is trained on da Vinci® Robotics and certified for robotics surgery. Dr. Bigos says, “OBGYN is a field where I can combine my passion for medicine with my love of surgery and patient and family-centered care. I truly enjoy being part of the most memorable events in a woman’s life, from menarche, to childbirth, to menopause.”
His areas of interest include minimally invasive and vaginal surgery, high-risk obstetrics, incontinence issues, Interstitial Cystitis, and adolescent gynecology. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors with his beautiful wife. Dr. Bigos and his wife have a newborn baby (Dominic) and two dogs. As a native Pennsylvanian, he looks forward to learning the nuances and gems of Minnesotan life (“you betcha!”). He encourages his patients to help him learn the best things about our North Star state.
