She went on to medical school at Midwestern University – AZCOM and then moved across the country to complete residency at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital/USF Morsani College of Medicine where she served as chief resident. Her interests include high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Blackstone and her husband Josh met in medical school and both fell in love with Phoenix during that time.
