I was taken back promptly and didn’t wait long at all for Dr. Kaplan. She is always so kind and easy to talk to. I’m probably not a typical patient. I prefer to avoid as much medical intervention as possible. I’m not open to a majority of the suggestions that could possibly fix my polyp issue (birth control/IUD). I’m also hesitant about mammograms. Dr. Kaplan has never made me feel uncomfortable or judged. She very clearly explains her knowledge and answers all of my questions very well. She also leaves the decisions to me and respects what I’m comfortable with. She’s always a joy to chat with and I’ve never seen her not sunny and positive and encouraging. Dr. Kaplan is wonderful! I’m glad she’s young because I plan on continuing to be a patient of hers for a long time.
Dr. Kaplan listens to patients, is very thorough and the staff/assistant is friendly too.

Dr. Kaplan is always very thorough and interested in any new health concerns that may have occurred since the last annual visit, and often has very insightful recommendations. She is very thoughtful and caring, and I genuinely look forward to seeing her each year.

While completing her residency in the Detroit area, Dr. Kaplan enjoyed being chief resident and worked to cultivate a productive learning environment for her residents. After her residency, Dr. Kaplan returned to her hometown of Wilmington, Ohio, where she worked in a private practice for five years. She developed a passion and enthusiasm for all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology. She loved serving the community where she was raised, but after several cold winters, she and her family decided to move south. Dr. Kaplan enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children. She enjoys exercising, the ocean, and getting to know her new home in St. Augustine.
