Dr. McAllister is an amazing physician, spends a lot of time and answers any questions.
No wait time. Dr. McAllister is thorough, direct, personable, knowledgeable and caring. He gets the "Poster Doctor" award for PCPs. I like the convenience of blood labs taken in the office. Again, no wait. Very efficient office from front desk check in until check out and next appointment scheduling. All health care offices should be run like this operation.
Takes his time and explains everything. He is such a good doctor. He makes you feel comfortable and you leave his office understanding everything that is going on with your health.

He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Saint Vincent Health System, where he served as Chief Resident of his program. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.
He has been actively involved in teaching other health care providers throughout his medical career. Dr. McAllister has also previously served in a variety of administrative posts, including Chairman of the Family Medicine Department at UPMC Hamot, Medical Director of the Lutheran Home of Kane, as well as other medical staff committee roles.
Dr. McAllister has been providing primary care to generations of patients throughout Erie and the surrounding areas at his family-oriented practice for many years. He's particularly interested in chronic disease management.
